“We had a wonderful time at this house. We had 15 people and we all fit comfortably in both houses. There was plenty of room at the table, around the island and in the living room. The outdoor space was perfect for playing games and relaxing around the fire pit. We will definitely come back!”

“The river was in the backyard and it was great!”

“At Red Shutters you fall asleep in front of a roaring fire and wake to deer grazing in the yard. The accommodations are clean, the bed comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked with cooking gear and dried spices. The propane stove in the main room was nice when the weather turned colder. It’s lovely to be surrounded by dense woods and just 3 blocks from Lake Michigan and Crystal Lake. A wonderful retreat. ”

“nice place. Fit the bill for us very well. A little pricey.”

The hot tub was the perfect way to loosen up and unwind after our journey up north and gives amazingvi3w of the night sky. Just a country block away from our favorite meadery, St Ambrose. We came up on a weekend and didnt quite realize there was a winter storm heading our way. The rental management company came……
