Almost everything about the resort was great , except after checking in they tell you someone well help you with the layout of the hotel, and then proceeds to try and sell you tours, I don't need a sales pitch after traveling all morning, just get me to my hotel room. But that being said, the food was great, the room was good the service was great, the staff was great, the location was great.

Our experience was outstanding from the moment we arrived until we left. Every single employee we encountered showed the utmost courtesy, helpfulness, friendliness and kindness. Professional in every sense. Our room was beautifully located on the 6th floor with a direct view of the ocean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Room service was prompt. The culinary experience was wonderful. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it, beautiful setting. We cannot recommend this hotel enough.

"Very nice all inclusive in Cancun!"
We liked almost everything about this place. We stayed in a roomy junior suite with a fantastic ocean view. The couch converted into a daybed so it easily accommodated 3, and the bath was large with huge shower. The onsite restaurants were pretty good. We especially loved Maria's (Mexican food)...order the Mayan coffee there. You won't regret it! The hotel was located in a safe area with walking distance to shopping and other restaurants if you so choose. The beach was fantastic, but it was very windy and under red flag warnings so couldn't really get into the water much while there. There were 2 nice pools, miniature golf, and lots of things for kids and adults to do. There were also several bars and nightly live entertainment. The only thing we didn't like was the pressure put on us to listen to a sales pitch for the hotel chain right when first checked in. After repeatedly saying we weren't interested, we were finally led to our room.

    "Perfect venue for a wedding."
We were here for a wedding and the venue was perfect. Although it was windy for the week we were there, it was still beautiful. The food was awesome, the drinks were first class, and the staff was great. We would like to come back at a time when the pools are a bit warmer, but for January it was still mostly comfortable.

    "Wonderful, but some important shortcomings"
A great property. Beach, pools, grounds, rooms all top notch. Staff are plentiful and all fantastic. Enjoyed the late night entertainment. Restaurant venues are beautiful. Good menus overall, but we found several entree choices to be lacking the quality we expected. Room mini-fridge didn't cool hardly at all. Complained but nothing could be done...

"Great hotel on a private beach. "
The Pacifica was a great experience. It has a friendly, laid back and relaxing vibe, especially if you grab lounge chairs and an umbrella on the beach. It caters to couples and small groups that have come to relax in the sun. It's adults only, which was nice. Don't go if you are interested in a wild party experience because this is not the place for that. The beach is completely private and we rarely saw anyone on our daily beach walks. The food was great and it was easy to get in at any of the dining options. We saw whales everyday, manta rays constantly jumping, and even saw a shark just outside the wave break. One thing to know is the riptide is really, really intense on this beach, so getting in the ocean is not an option. If you go for the private butler option on your room, ask for Manuel! He is awesome! We will be back to the Pacifica.

NIce pool, beach vendors were polite, clean, fun night shows and entertainment at the beach pool. The food was mediocre. Most of the time it was overcooked and cold. Most staff very friendly. When things did not work, it was always tomorrow. Our garden room by the Mexican restaurant was very noisy with carts and voices. good for a short stay.
