“Such a wonderful motel to stay in for a quick trip to Castlemaine! It was so cozy, modern, clean and comfortable, and had all the necessities such as a kettle, hairdryer, soap, etc! Checking in and out was so easy, and the staff were so kind and welcoming to us. Breakfast was kindly handed to us the night before! Would really recommend this motel, it was perfectly in the centre of town ”

“Had a lovely 2 night stay over Easter with a friend. Cottage is clean, well utilized space inside, has everything you need, quite, private and friendly communication. Would love to stay again. ”

“I loved the warmth and character of this beautifully renovated home. As someone who values sustainable living, the features such as double-glazing, solar panels, timber floors, and dozens of indoor plants all made for a wonderful holiday experience for me and my teen kids, despite it being a very cold and rather drizzly week. “The cottage and surrounds were inviting and peaceful. Bed linen was beautiful, though we did find the mattresses too firm for us. Everything we needed was supplied and the fireplace kept the cottage cosy and warm. We also enjoyed the bookcase filled with an interesting mix of books and games, as well as the hammock and a fire by the dam to take in the beautiful starry sky. Elbert was friendly, welcoming and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!”
