“This is a great location for exploring Norfolk. We were only there one night but it was peaceful and accommodated all 3 of us with our dog. The owner was excellent with her communication but not at all intrusive. Nice touches like our own private garden with a BBQ where they kindly left some coals so we had the option to use it.”

“Just had a wonderful stay at The Pheasant, Holt, Norfolk. The hotel was very comfortable, lovely bedrooms and equally lovely seating areas downstairs. We were out and about most of the time, as one would expect to be on a short vacation however, the ambience and comfort when at the hotel was simply wonderful. “Me and my partner enjoyed a 2 night stay and we have to say we was VERY impressed! The place was vibrant and colourful, every staff member we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. I organised in advance some balloons, cake and banners etc for my fiancée’s birthday and they even left a birthday card in the room with it all too! “Pod was spotless and very well equipped with hob, fridge, freezer, microwave. Plenty of room for a family of 4 with a double bed and double sofa bed. Parking beside the pod which would easily fit 2 cars. The site was very clean and well presented. Check in was very easy and the owner was very informative and friendly. Very well stocked shop. My only downside which was no ones fault, we arrived on a very hot day and the pod was extremely hot. Luckily we bought fans with us. We slept with the……

“My stay at this hotel was ok, but i only stayed for 2 days, the hotel looks dated inside, the lift looks like its been there when the hotel was built, it worked but only2 people would fit in at a time, the staff were very helpful willing to help, the room was tidy enough room for 2 days, had a kettle and drinks,. the bed ..... well 2 days was enough, the mattress had seen better days, you could fell every spring and wire inside, not very comfortable. free parking out the front of the hotel, but……

“Room and bathroom clean and spacious. Bar and food good. Staff friendly. Buses outside to nearby villages. Train station 5 mins which was really useful for getting around and local shop, pub and cafe 5 mins. Social club 5 mins. Great band and friendly people. Car parking at rear. Beach 10 mins.”

“Lovely 3 night stay. Rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. We booked two rooms and were assigned one in the courtyard and one in the main building. Bathroom in the courtyard room was significant bigger but otherwise rooms were comparable. Great location. Definitely recommend booking with breakfast included. The breakfast was delicious and included a cooked breakfast item from the menu as well as the buffet style yogurt, pastries, toast, fruit etc. The homemade compote was absolutely……
