"Great Hotel with excellent breakfast and service. Great water pressure and hot water. We went to Machu Picchu and got delayed for 2 days returning. We had valuables in the room and our check out was expiring. We rebooked and messaged the hotel. They took care of everything. When we returned all our valuables were secured. "It is in the San Blas area so there is a walk uphill to the hotel. Streets and sidewalks are narrow which is why the neighborhood is unique which also means that you will need to go meet any tour vans. In our case someone always came to the hotel and walked us to the meeting points. Taxis and Ubers went right to the hotel. Just a 10-minute or so walk to the main plaza. Plenty of small fun restaurants in the area. If you need laundry done, then do it through the hotel it was cheap. They also arranged taxis to and from airport and more. The breakfast was great as was the staff in general."

"The property is close to the main plaza which can easily be reached with a 5 min walk. Rooms are simple but clean and nice-European style. Staff was very helpful and friendly throughout the entire visit. Beds were nice but very firm-if you like soft beds you may want a different style hotel. But I found them to be comfortable. WiFi is accessible throughout the property and reliable. "

"From the outside this property is unassuming. Once you enter, it’s a whole other world. The staff were friendly and Juanita’s brownies hit the spot. The hotel is quaint and unique. The staff provided an early morning snack to go for our early tour departure. They held luggage for other travelers as well. The location is within a walking distance of the main square, restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend!"

"Awesome location right in the Plaza de Armas. Staff were friendly and helpful. We couldn’t figure how to turn on the heat and they came right up to demonstrate how to use it. Provided a breakfast to go when we had an early morning tour. Soap was hand crafted. Conveniently located near Starbucks. "

"The property decor and architecture was beautiful and I loved the courtyard with a fountain. The room was spacious and the shower was the BEST in Peru. It was quiet enough but you could hear people in the other rooms and in the courtyard. The bed was a little too firm for me tho. The breakfast buffet was also the best I had experienced in Peru - homemade bread and cakes, lots of fruit and eggs cooked to order. Although the San Pedro market area could be a little seedy, it was handy to have the 'local' market so close and it was always busy so I felt safe walking around by myself. Couldn't really figure out the "one drink for free per day" as they gave me a bottle of soda water the first night but then charged me for a bottle of water the next so I just didn't bother after that. Would recommend tho! "

"Without a doubt it’s the best hotel in the historic center of Cusco. Have been in Cusco more than 10 times and have stayed in many other hotels and this is definitely the best! Very friendly staff, very clean, delicious breakfast and very convenient location. "

"Beautiful hotel in the middle of Yucay, staff was for the most part very friendly, just one time we encountered an unfriendly waiter during our dinner service. Breakfast was amazing!! A lot of options including an egg station. There was a wedding during our stay which made it noisy that one night but other than that, great stay"

"Location, location, location. Is it a luxurious hotel where you can just stay in for the day and enjoy hotel amenities?... no is not. It is boutique hotel in the heart of Cusco, walking distance to almost everything, where they treat you great, is clean, you have a great night sleep and hot shower and better breakfast and then go visit the city and take your tours during the day... repeat. Yes, I would recommend, value vs quality is great, no complaints at all. As a family this is the type of property we like for the type of vacation, where you spend the least amount of time in the hotel and most of your day out and about. "

"This historic property is in fact a museum and a 5-star luxury hotel located across the street from the must see Qorikancha. Our experience was outstanding. Hot tea in the lobby. A baby lima in the plaza by the restaurant. Outstanding service with people waiting to assist you everywhere you go. The restaurant provides excellent food, with lovely, soothing live music. The buffet breakfasts had all the high quality offerings one could hope for. The room was plush and luxurious (even if a bit small), with beds one sinks into, plush first rate robes, towels, bedding and pillows, hot showers. Don't miss the free tour of the hotel at 5p, done by a very accomplished young man who provided a lot of information one would not have gotten otherwise. It ended with a moving Inka ceremony of music and dance. After 10 days in a series of nice but simple hotels in Pisac, Ollantaytambo and Machu Picchu, it was nice to enjoy the comforts of the Palacio for 3 nights, while seeing the sights in Cusco."
