The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant was very good. The rooms were pretty, spacious and comfortable. Overall, a great stay!

The food was exceptional. We ate dinner all three days in hotel, and each meal was delicious. The staff was friendly and so nice; they went out of their way to help us as needed. I hope to come back and stay again.

The hotel is very well maintained and clean. The views over the cherry fields are beautiful! The staff are friendly and accommdating. The hotel is on the edge of the town and very quiet at night.

The La Monastica resort was a wonderful place with a staff who were exceptionally welcoming, pleasant and helpful. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The location and grounds were beautiful with some modern influences in decor but really maintaining the overall old world charm and aesthetic of the monastery. We really enjoyed time in the bar playing cards and drinking some great cocktails.

Very beautiful place this was second time here, and from the room being impeccable and the staff being accommodating and very sweet ladies, will definitely return.

A charming B&B settled outside of Lucca (~20 minutes), but with easy access to visiting many different areas. We rented a car from the airport (~1hr & 20mins) and I highly recommend it so you can move around with ease and visit different areas even go to the coast. The tolls are fantastic and fast. Staff, room, facilities, restaurant, all 5's. Plus free parking, only 10 minutes to airport, and it's immediately off hiway to Firenze. 20 euro taxi to centro. Oh, yeah, the price is right.

We stayed in this hotel during our travel from the Parma region to Tuscany. It was in a peaceful, remote location in the mountains. The town of Tole is quite small with not much to do, but it is great if you are getting weary from the big cities! The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel restaurant is really the only one in town we could find, but the food was great and locals were also dining with us. Truly a beautiful and old world look agriturismo. Felt like we were in an antique villa. Large room and excellent service. The owner is very nice and professional. Breakfast is home made, fresh, abundant and soooo good!!! 5 stars hotel except this little village outside of Bologna is nothing special. But the agriturismo is great and with great ambiance if you want to stay outside Bologna and take field trips from this location. Same hotel in Tuscany would be double the price.
