“ We found the hotel to be clean and comfortable (excellent bed and very updated furniture and bathroom). The baseboard heater was working a little hard to get the room up to heat, but it did eventually get there and we don't mind sleeping with cooler air anyway. Perhaps a larger unit would have been a better idea.
We did find that the hallway echoes badly and outside noise was a problem, but then we are used to living in a tiny town with almost no noise at night. Other people may not mind as...

“Heritage building in nice location. The owner was very knowledgeable of local history and the included breakfast was abundant, delicious and varied from day to day. Only negative is no elevator ( as expected for a heritage home). Would definitely stay again.”

“Pool was ice cold could not use. Bathrooms by the pool 3 stalls out of service No water in hot tub. Heat in room did not work. Complimentary breakfast was cold nothing to drink other than coffee was suppose to be a continental breakfast. Was very dissapointing”

“We love this hotel.....the staff is lovely, the location is great. I would like to have a shower cap instead of three make-up remover packs. The breakfast is adequate but I a gluten free and there were just regular muffins and no option for toasting bread which I usually bring with me. There was yogurt and fruit which was great. We are coming again next month and will stay at the Senator.”
