"Idyllic resort good for relaxation and recharge "

"The rooms were maintained and cleaned to a very high standard The staff were very courteous always greeted you with a smile on their face and never went past you without saying hello. The reception staff were very accommodating Suman on front desk who received us was very good. In fact, all the staff were amazing restaurant staff in old restaurants they got to know what I wanted very fast and at one stage I just need you to sit down at the table and whatever I needed to eat was there !! Good selection on breakfast, fruits fresh juices, breads and Alcote menu used to order from. And a waffle and pancake station to boot.! The outdoor pool area was nice overlooking to see I took a private villa room with a pool, which was absolutely amazing and very peaceful and private"

"the stay was perfect , i wanted to cancel my stay when i saw the huge distance between downtown and the hotel on the mountain , but then lovely staff called raj and the best chef ever who made up my lovely stay with his great welcoming help and amazing food,very kind and helpfull i felt home !!! my room was comfortable and clean i would go again there even if the location is abit far "

"A very warm welcome with cool towels and a popsicle. Rooms are stocked with 2 espresso pods each day which was appreciated. Air con in room never went below 23 degrees which was disappointing. Main pool is very nice, with plenty of cabanas, lounge beds, chairs, and an outdoor shower. Pool side service could use some work; staff does not come by to take orders. Gym is good with nicely appointed equipment. Breakfast spread is very nice but not enough bug fans to go around. "

"The staff were without fail very friendly and helpful. Really made the stay enjoyable. The room was very comfortable. One very minor thing was that the pool doesn’t open until 9am - it would have been nice to have it open earlier to allow for an early swim. But overall great hotel and would definitely recommend "

"Went to celebrate my birthday and what a week. The room was very clean and spacious,the staff was amazing, always greeting us with a smile. Thank you for making my birthday special by gifting me a birthday cake/song at breakfast, you made my day. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of food and lots of options but the fruit station was by far my favourite. Will definitely recommend and return to this hotel"

"The Coco de Mer is a unique hotel; small, about 50 suites set on a lovely private beach. The photograph shown here is out of date, the facilities are prettier than those shown. The best feature has to be the staff who have been here for years, happy in their work They feel like friends, you are so well looked after. Have a cocktail and watch the sun go down to the call of the doves."
