“Our stay in the Hawksbill Penthouse was an absolute dream vacation. The suite was incredibly spacious and beautifully appointed, and the photos simply could not capture the breathtaking beauty of the outdoor dining area overlooking the ocean. The pool was peaceful and relaxing, the restaurant offered fantastic food and exceptional service, and the beach was absolutely perfect. Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations, and we can’t wait to return.”

“We were greeted very warmly by host, who treated us like family and was helpful in recommending nearby amenities and restaurants. The apartment was spacious and bed was very comfortable. Property located conveniently from amenities and only a few minutes away by car from beaches and several attractions found in the northern part of the island. “This is the 4th time staying at this apartment. I love this neighbourhood and the apartment itself has a lot of positives. It has had a bit of facelift since the last time we were here. however, there were 2 big negatives for me:1. No room fans. Ceiling fans in all the rooms but when the bed is directly underneath, you don't get any breeze.2. The bedding - a PLASTIC sheet on the mattress (and I understand you want to keep it as clean as possible, but it just added to the fact that the bedding……

“This is a perfect spot to stay in Barbados especially if you're traveling with a toddler like we were. The apartment is clean, well-equipped, and the layout is ideal. The pool feels like your own private pool at times and our toddler was in it everyday. Right across the street from a nice also almost-private beach. Overall a really great week in Barbados!”

“The villa was well maintained and in a great location for Mullins beach, down a quiet (but pot-holed!) road. It was secluded and we loved seeing the monkeys in the trees.It had everything we expected and needed except perhaps for somewhere to dry wet towels and swimming stuff, a line for that under cover would have helped as we sometimes had rain overnight? We used the bedrooms in the pool house but there were no glasses/crockery/cutlery in the kitchen there and not really enough in the main……

“We had a wonderful stay at this lovely villa. The place was comfortable and clean. The pool was set in a beautiful tropical oasis just a few steps away. We walked to the beach most days and enjoyed the sunsets. Renting a car was helpful to explore other parts of the island including the Wildlife Reserve, St Nicholas Abbey and the Animal Flower Cave. There are several excellent restaurants nearby as well. We would strongly recommend this vacation villa and hope to return in the future. ”

“My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights and it was amazing! Just as the pictures shown - bright, clean, and just across the road from the beach. Lots of restaurants and shops in this cute town and easy bus access to animal flower cave and the lighthouse. Bedroom was at the back of the suite, so it was super quiet and comfy for sleeping. Highly recommend!!”

“The pros: the apartment was easy to find. Check in was easy. The owner is responsive.The cons: The air conditioning is rationed and limited to a single common room. It is on a motion censor that does a terrible job of detecting people. It cut out on us several times even though several of us were sitting right there in front of it. The bedrooms rely on floor fans but if you're a couple, closing your door is very uncomfortable because the heat and humidity will collect. Upon arrival, it was……

“PROS: Beautiful accommodation with spacious kitchen, water filter in fridge, great terrace for sunrise and a nice pool. Quiet location away from tourist areas, no mosquitoes. CONS: Kitchen equipment is outdated, communication/organization was inconsistent (wrong booking assumption, checkout message 2 days early causing confusion). Despite being advertised as peaceful, there was frequent construction noise around the pool (drilling, sawing, hammering). The main issues started after……

Spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained and equipped with everything we could need.Walking to the beach was a little further than we had thought (a good 10 minute walk), which wouldn’t have normally been a problem but my wife has been struggling with a bad leg for some months now and finds it difficult to walk that far.
