"We had a great stay at the Balsam Inn! Everyone put their hearts into giving folks a great experience. My husband says the dinner was the finest he ever had, and I appreciated all the little things that made our travel easier (ice for coolers, a shared frig, absolutely lovely and plentiful bedding). "We had an amazing stay at this cabin. The location on the river was beautiful and our kids did not hesitate to jump in and wade in the river as soon as we arrived. We took advantage of the beautiful surroundings and did several hikes in the area. Our first morning we walked just down the road to see the cute waterfall. The location of the cabin is great. The town of Northville is close by and has several places to eat and some stores for any necessities you may have forgotten. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed making dinner one night and having leisurely breakfasts each morning. Sipping our coffee and tea out on the screened in porch was the best part of everyday. The sound of the river flowing by is so relaxing. We spent the first part of our week hopping from hotel to hotel as we toured colleges in the region, so coming to the cabin for a few days at the end of the week was so welcomed. It really was a wonderful way to relax and recharge in beautiful surroundings. "
