"The hotel grounds, pool, and room all seemed clean and well maintained. All the staff are very helpful and nice. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel is starting to show it age a bit but is still very comfortable and clean. The location is safe and I had no worries about my car and belongings. It's about 15 mins to the beaches to the south and about 20 mins to Newport."

"Across the street from the ocean. I went for the oportunity to relax, be by the ocean, do some walking, visit local seafood restaurants, and enjoy sitting on my balcony and reading (and inside in AC when it was too hot to be outdoors, but i could still look out my window at the ocean.)"

"Hotel was in an amazing location, so easily walkable from the ferry and all the main shops/restaurants and bars. They stored our luggage for us until our room was ready (early!) and then when we went to check in our bags had already been brought to our room which was great. We stayed in The Gothic which was a a bit up the street from the main building however I was happier with that because it was definitely more quiet and we were on a ground floor (I'm 6 months pregnant so didn't really want to be walking up and down stairs all day). The only slight negatives was that the ice machine was right outside our room which was loud if people were using it early in the morning, and they do allow non-guests to purchase the beach loungers so there are times when none are available. We loved our stay and would definitely come back! "

"I liked it very much, the room was clean, spacious, the balcony overlooked the trees. We stayed for three nights, two of which were quiet. But the last night in the next room there was a party from 2 am, loud music and noise. We went to the reception, but it was closed. We had to endure the noise, so as not to get involved with a drunken company. But in general the impressions of the hotel itself are very pleasant."
