“The 1661 Resort is hands down my favorite place to stay on Block Island. The views are absolutely breathtaking. It's also far enough from the downtown bars and crowds that you can truly relax and enjoy the peace and quiet, while still being just a short walk or bike ride away from everything. The resort is beautiful, and the recent updates to the farm and the new spa and fitness area across the street make it even better. Everything feels fresh, thoughtfully designed, and adds to the overall……

“Great ocean front property. Park, check in and hit the beach. The beach is a few feet away from your car so no lugging heavy beach necessities, coolers or chairs, for long distances. The beach view from the outdoor balcony was great and you see, and hear the waves crashing all day and night. Room was clean with microwave and fridge. They have an outdoor shower and elevator and the staff was very nice. Only issue, the shower head in the room needs to be replaced. It had little water coming out……
