Incredible views of the ocean, absolutely breathtaking! Had plenty of bedrooms for 3 generations in our family. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bedding. And laundry machines made it so convenient for all, traveling to the vacation from different places. Had a wonderful time.

Girl Cousin Trip

Great Place

The big common area was fantastic for our annual getaway. We have 9 adults and the house gave us the space we wanted to hang out, play games and cook meals together. The hot tub and game room were fun too.

Great for a sleepover!

A few issues but all in all we had a nice time.

The first issue was access to the home upon arrival! The front door lock set was broken and it took us 30 mins with a phone call to owner to get in the front door. There were ants all over the kitchen; on the floor, in the sink, and on the countertops! The refrigerator froze a lot of our produce which had to be thrown away and we never found a temp adjustment to fix this issue. There was plenty of cookware but only one mixing bowl for meal prep!! The house was plenty big for our large family of 16 (10 adults and 6 grandchildren) and we had a fun time at the beach despite the June “gloom” weather…next time we will come in the Spring or Fall for more sunshine!

Wonderful property

The perfect house for our family's Dillon beach vacation. It has an incredible view from the kitchen, dining and family room with an amazing balcony. Our large family spends most of our time hanging out together on the balcony or around the large dining table playing cards, eating, etc while we take in the views. The house is very clean and well maintained with modern updates and lots of amenities. I highly recommend this house.

Great time celebrating Mom’s 90th bday and brother’s 68th! Great location. Close access to Dillon Beach. Main floor bedroom bathroom shower is not accessible for elderly parents.

Spectacular views

My family and I stayed at this beautiful home for 3 nights. Accommodations were great as it has a very large and open space on the main floor. There were plenty of towels and the kitchen was well stocked with all the needed cooking tools and cookware. The guys spent 1 day golfing at Bodega Bay and we explored the local beaches and also hiked Pinnacle Gultch trail to a beautiful beach at Bodega Bay. I would rent this house again.

Amazing Beach House

We rented this house for 4 nights four our families which included 8 adults and 4 children (ages 1 to 5). The house had amazing views, was extremely clean, and was very spacious for the 12 of us. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The tide pools at low tide at the private beach below the house were the best tide pools we’ve ever experienced. Dillons beach was easily walkable from the house, although we drove a couple times to being all of our beach supplies. We will definitely be staying here again!

Dirty w/ Incredible View

The unit is dated and the carpet was gross! It needs replacing. Many of the cooking pans etc… were greasy and there were socks left under beds and pretty dusty. Would never return. Then the electricity went out @ 10:30 pm on the 17th and we had trouble getting out in the morning.

teacher getaway

12 teachers enjoyed a well-deserved weekend. The views were amazing, and there was plenty of cookware, dishes, and coffee makers. We couldn't find a stash of bath towels, so some resorted to a beach towel for a shower. For future visitors - i suggest you bring napkins and kleenex, as we couldn't find any. We used paper towels as napkins and when the roll ran out, we went without. Overall we all loved it and plan to return next year.

Retreat

The refrigerator needs a new water filter. Light by the coffee station doesn't work. One of the propane tanks looks too old to still be in use. Propane tanks do not supply enough energy to the stove. Difficult to boil water. None of the clocks are working. Light in a downstairs bathroom is not working. Bedroom closet door has no bottom runners. (Naming the bedrooms would help ID them). Instructions on how to access the beach would be helpful.

Amazing view but the rest of house doesn't measure up.

This house has the best view of any house I've stayed at in Dillon Beach. It also has an amazing kitchen and lots of bedrooms. Those are the positives, however, I wouldn't stay there again. Although the house has been redecorated and remodeled in some rooms it still feels like an old house that they tried to dress up. There is a strong musty smell downstairs and one of the bedrooms was not suitable for anyone to stay in because the musty smell was so strong. They had a dehumidifier but it didn't work very well. The house could use an update to the lighting as it is pretty dark in parts of the house. Although the view is amazing, there are no window treatments on the large windows in the family room/kitchen area. It can be blinding in the afternoon without something to shade the sun. The other rooms were fine and the garage has been redone into a pool/ping pong room so one of our guests slept on the sofa bed in there instead of the musty room. Because the garage is used as a room, parking is a problem. With a house that lists 7 bedrooms and sleeps 14, I would expect to have parking spaces for more than 5 cars. The rental agreement said there was a day street parking pass for one car and a beach pass for one car. When we got there the management said we had received an old lease and that they no longer offered those passes. We had to park two cars a mile away outside of the residential community. With a little more updating this house could be amazing. For now though we thought it was overpriced.

Fantastic weekend getaway with coworkers

This house was perfect for a team-bonding weekend for a group of physical, occupational, and speech therapists. The house was massive and had breath-taking views of the ocean. The living room and dining room stole the show for sure, and the huge kitchen was great as well. The kitchen had absolutely everything you need, with countless utensils, pans, serving platters, baking sheets, cutting boards, and silverware. There was a beautiful espresso machine, along with a drip coffee maker and a French press.We were able to fit five standard cars in the driveway by parking the first four perpendicular to the garage, and the last one parallel to the street. The rest of the cars we parked outside the HOA and it was an easy shuttle back and forth. The host was responsive and the check in/out process was very easy. It was great that the two en-suite bathrooms also had doors to the hallways, so that all four bathrooms could be shared. Luxurious towels!A few tips:-Two of the bathrooms have faucet handles that are very small and very difficult to turn, so if you have elderly people or people with arthritic hands in your group, you may want to give them the other two bathrooms to use. -The hot tub is only accessible through one of the bedrooms, so don't assign that bedroom to someone who goes to bed early ;) -The igniter on the BBQ can be finicky, but there are two hand-held igniters in one of the drawers. Highly recommend, and definitely hope to be back.

Firm Retreat Destination

This is the 3rd time we have enjoyed this extraordinary property for our much needed annual Retreat. The beauty is unsurpassed and the amenities are perfect for a group/family. The kitchen is well appointed and spacious opening on to the living area. The game room does not disappoint! Sleeping with the window open to hear the crashing surf was the icing!

We had a lovely time. The place is great. A floor plan would have been helpful in advance as the bathroom situation was not as we envisioned it. Also, the induction stove lacked a manual and was difficult to figure out. Otherwise, top notch! We hated to leave and the owner made the check-out process a dream....

BUYER BEWARE

The view is what you are paying for. The house needs some updating. When I rented this house, I expected to have a great weekend with my family. When we arrived, at no fault to anyone, the power was out due a storm that had hit the area. We were not informed prior to arrival by the property host so we were not prepared for this situation. We did not have refrigeration for the food we brought, and we could not cook it as everything in the house, including the stove is electric. We were given an ETA of 8:30pm for the power to be restored. Unfortunately, the power was not restored. We searched the entire house for flashlights and because we did not have phone service, internet or a working house phone me and my husband drove a few miles down the road to contact the property host to ask where the flashlights were. He said that there should be some but did not know where they were. We would have brought some had we known or we could have purchased some but there are no local stores in this area. By the next morning after finding out that the new ETA for the power to restored was 2:00pm and spending a miserable night in the dark and freezing cold house with no electricity, no refrigeration, no hot water we decided to pack up and go home. Surely, since we did not get the use of one of the amenities the house advertised, they would work with us on a refund, partial refund or come back on another date. Nope, the property host told Vrbo to tell us NO :(
