“The room was tidy, staff were top notch (helpful, kind and friendly). Breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety of breakfast items. There was also a bar with a great bartender.”

“A lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially the lady who was front of house in the breakfast room. The room was spacious with comfortable beds- the only negative is the lack of air conditioning in the bedrooms. As the window only opens a tiny bit we were roasted at night despite the small fan which was provided. Otherwise all was lovely.”

“Rooms were clean, but noisy, the windows did not open fully, and it was hot inside, and the hotel did not have A/C in rooms. Only given two bath towels. Bed was comfortable, but pillows flimsy. Great bar and pub, good for dinner, but breakfast was so so. The staff was okay”

“A must go midway place if you travel from Londonderry to Dublin (or vice versa). Reasonable price & good food in the bar & restaurant. If you drive there, your car can be parked next to your room, extremely convenient. ”

“An absolute gem of a hotel. Staff are superb, the grounds are fantastic and the food is amazing. The breakfast is top tier with incredible homemade chutneys and various fruits soaked in delicious syrups along with freshly made hot food. We had dinner at the restaurant - proper, high quality ingredients - genuine quality. It also has an extensive wine selection (definitely not the normal bland wine lists you normally find). The rooms are very comfortable as well. If we return to Carlingford, we……

“Das Zimmer war sauber und konfortabel. Es fehlte jedoch ein kühlschrank was für ein executive Zimmer negativ ist. Das Personal war genetell freundlich. Nur in der Bar ear der Service eher miserabel. Das Frühstück war zum vergessen. Den Pool konnte ich nicht benutzen.”
