“Absolute must to avoid. Filthy room with a pet odor, who knows what splattered all over the walls. Bugs in the shower. Smoke detector not working and covered by painters tape. The worst motel room I have ever stayed in.”

“Not a 4 star hotel but clean and comfortable enough. We were in a no smoking room that had been smoked in heavily. The bar and restaurant are handy but it's a heavily attended comedy club. The parking was almost full on Saturday night and very noisy when club closed down at 1 or 1:30 am. So... 4 stars for a 3 star motel.”

“So, shockingly that the room was as clean and comfortable as it was by looking at the outside of the building. Checkin was easy, room was one of the cleanest in out whole vacation( 12 days, 3 different hotels). Beds were comfortable... So now the not good stuff, but doable, the carpet going upstairs definitely needed to be replaced, I'm pretty sure there are "long term" people staying there, which were no bother to us. The breakfast area and options were small and limited, there were restaurants……

“My wife & enjoy the Colton Motel because of its nostalgic charm. It's like stepping back into the 1960s. Very clean, very comfortable, very accommodating. It's where we stay every time we're in Gettysburg, great place.”

“Staff at check in was great. The whole hotel smells like smoke even the non smoking room smelled like smoke, it was in the sheets. The second night we got back to the hotel and our floor was flooded, we called down staff said they didn’t have another room and would send some towels(never did) when we asked how this would be compensated they said they needed to contact the manager and would get back to us and hung up. We started putting our child to bed and they show up at our door 15 minutes……

“The furnitures are too old and a little dirty, and there are so many lights outside of the window, and I can hear the sound outside the room very clearly. But the price is so low, so I can accpet it.”
