Disneyland® Park
Vacation Travel Guide

Disneyland® Park which includes a statue or sculpture and rides
The world’s most iconic theme park has entertained crowds since 1955.

Around 15 million people a year visit Disneyland® Resort in Anaheim. It’s home to Disneyland® Park, which offers eight themed lands: Adventureland®, Critter Country, Fantasyland®, Frontierland®, Main Street, U.S.A.®, Mickey’s Toontown® Fair, New Orleans Square and Tomorrowland®.

Disneyland® Park calls itself “The Happiest Place On Earth.” It was the vision of late American animator and movie producer Walt Disney. His dream was to create an entertainment experience that captured the imagination of adults, as well as children. Today, Disneyland® Resort offers more than 100 shows and attractions for you and your family to enjoy.

Today, you can still enjoy some of the original rides from when Disneyland® Park first opened, like the Jungle Cruise. This seven-minute tour will take you through a tropical adventure, with giant butterflies, gorillas, king cobras, and more. Sleeping Beauty Castle, another original Park attraction, is modeled on a real Bavarian castle that is perfect for family pictures. In Fantasyland®, take a whirl on the Mad Tea Party where you can spin as fast or slow as you please.

Some visitors like to meticulously plan out their Disneyland® Park visit however, known for large crowds on any given day, a more spontaneous, laid-back approach may be a more enjoyable experience. Be prepared to spend time outdoors waiting in line for attractions or taking a stroll through the immersive lands. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, and take plenty of sunscreen and water.

A Guest Information board is located near the entrance to Adventureland® to provide you with estimated waiting times for major attractions and entertainment schedules. Smartphone users can download a Disneyland® Park mobile application for on-the-go updates. Lines for the most popular rides tend to be shorter at the beginning of the day, so if you plan on doing as much as you can, get there early.

With offerings for day and night, you’ll need more than just a day to see and do everything there is at Disneyland® Resort. Buy a multi-day ticket to enjoy all there is on offer, and save on your Disneyland® Resort vacation.
