You’ll find a village shop and post office for local essentials, a welcoming pub at the heart of the community just a short walk from the village is Dickleburgh Moor — a 50-acre nature reserve of meadows, ponds and wetland habitats where you can spot birds, water-vole activity and enjoy wildlife in a serene setting. You can visit the 100th Bomb Group Memorial Museum near Diss — set in the original control tower of a WWII airbase, it’s rich in history. Or head to the nearby Redgrave & Lopham Fen — a stunning nature reserve of fenland and woodland perfect for a quiet walk together. The market town of Diss with its historic streets, independent shops and cafés is a nice change of pace. If you fancy a longer daytrip, you’re within reach of the iconic Norfolk Broads waterways and the Suffolk coast if you’re feeling seaside bound.
