“Everything in the room was very dated and tired, there was a layer of dust over everything including the sofa. The sliding door did not lock. The bed was uncomfortable. There was an unpleasant smell like cat urine on entering the property. It was completely over priced. There was a notice on the property saying that the restaurant was closed and an alternate number to call to check in. We ended up leaving and not staying the night despite not being able to get a refund.”

“Expensive price. My family and friends didn't like the Breakfast at all. There was nothing hot to eat in breakfast. Not even a bread. Didn't like the breakfast even after paying so much.”

“Very basic hotel. There was never anyone at the front desk. Coming and going, I never saw a staff member at the front desk except when I rang the bell when I checked in. Pillows on the bed were so deflated, so I asked housekeeping for an extra pillow or 2. After being told they would replace the pillows on day 2 of my 7 night stay, the pillows were never replaced or offered an extra. I ended up taking a pillow from a sofa in the lobby. “Not too much to choose from in the small town of Fort MacLeod. Red Coat Inn certainly seemed the better of choices. A bit dated and a tad rundown it was clean and convenient. Office were helpful and on-site parking was free. The Fort is well worth a visit.”
