“Wonderful country get-away! Rooms were clean and quaint. The farm was so fun to explore with lots of recycled metal sculptures throughout. Cute and friendly farm cats were a wonderful surprise! The hot breakfast (egg bake, warm Bundt coffee cake and fresh cut Georgia peaches) was the best breakfast I’ve had in a LONG time. “This is an older property given a coat of paint and new furniture. It was clean. The HVAC allowed humid air and road noise into the room. The shower was nicer than average (mild stream) even if some of the fixtures were loose. The breakfast was adequate. The check-in clerk was chatting on the phone leaving us waiting. The bed was better than average, but do bring a night light. On the whole, I'll give it a solid middle of the road "3" rating. In other words, I'd stay there again.”

“The hotel is outdated, but clean. Breakfast was only take and go. Plenty of good coffee though. It's located in a great area - plenty of shopping and restaurants. The major drawback was the parking lot. It appeared to be a drug dealing location. I didn't feel safe taking my dog out for a bathroom break. I did see the manager come out and talk to the individuals there. The doors had to be pulled shut - they did not completely close on their own.”

“I’m conflicted with this hotel. It’s a beautiful and unique hotel. I loved the design and the history. The staff were nice enough but for as dead as it was they weren’t always around. For example, you can order food or a drink and you will get it and then they disappear. To the point it’s annoying. They had an elderly women working the dinning room and we never got asked if we want another drink. She just was busy with other tables. I saw two other servers but they were wiping tables. “Room was ok, clean enough. Hate that the air conditioner blows directly onto bed. To keep the room at a decent temperature you have to turn thermostat down but then it blows cold air directly on you in bed.
