“Lovely Village location, and quaint accommodation.
I stayed in one of the rooms round the corner from the pub. It was a ground floor room with large bathroom.
Things to note:
No contact details in the room for reception / pub staff (same thing)
No Wi-Fi details - had to go to pub and wait until the barman was free to ask.
Only just enough toilet roll for one night for one person (not going to the pub to ask out loud)
No plugs near the kettle so had to plug it in on the floor by the door.

Our room was on the first floor, was very clean, had an air conditioning unit and included everything we needed for our two night stay. “We had a deluxe room on the second floor. It was extremely hot - due to the temperature outside being 33 degrees - we did have a fan but no air con. Nice shower and coffee machine and kettle. “We were in the king room way upstairs tiny stairs that a person my age should not be climbing. The bed was uncomfortable. We were there during the heat wave and had to depart a day early due to lack of AC and ventilation. Location was good and staff was friendly. Front desk not manned at all times. Hard to get service. Still have not received email with receipt from property. Not much choice in this area of hotels, just don’t book upstairs rooms!”
