“Lovely property. Front desk staff very helpful. Requested housecoats and slippers, slippers never came, housecoats was the rattiest thing I have seen, would fit a child and both had no ties. I stayed two days and they never vacuumed my room and there was a spider on the ceiling and a huge cobweb in the window that I cleaned. I had to ask three different people to fix the safe before it was fixed. Dining staff was extremely slow with picking up dishes and the food was not very flavourful for……

“From our after midnight arrival to the manager who went out of his way to change us from one type of handicap access room to one that was better suited to my needs. This property was run like a well oiled machine. The staff overall was polite and helpful, which obviously was made possible by the manager who seemed to treat them all the same way he treated guests (kind and helpful) even when he wasn’t in the building the staff was exceptional. A rare find these days”

“This amazing place has everything for a stay in a unique building in peaceful and quiet surroundings. The old rectory house is a lovely building with so much character. It is located in a quiet area and within walking distance to Arrow Valley country park which has some lovely walks, scenery and wildlife. Although the reception isn’t always staffed I had received clear instructions on access to the building, my room and an overview of the facilities. On arrival there was a member of staff……

“Room air con made a lot of noise to no effect, consequently room was hot at night. Bathroom extractor fan broken and room smelt damp. Wash basin plug did not seal effectively requiring tap to be left running when in use. Breakfast good. Position excellent for RSC.”

“What a fantastic place to stay. Really lovely room with modern bathroom and all the kitchen facilities you’d need. Super comfy bed and a very peaceful area. The owner is really welcoming and helpful. I stayed 2 days for a work trip but I’d love to go back and make more use of the facilities, maybe stay in one of the hot tub rooms, and see more of the area.”
