The hotel staff was quite friendly and knowledgeable. The property location was ideal for shopping, eating, and ease of access to the freeway. The property itself also had a lot of things to do (swimming, basketball, access to a little lake, outside fire pit, etc.).

After getting the one additional, it canceled out our other 2 cards. When we took them back to the front desk the gentleman behind the counter said "Yeah that happens". If he knew that he should have given us all new cards. We just spent 13 hours driving and just wanted to rest and not deal qith something he knew was going to be an...

Nicely located next to the outlet, Casino, IMax theater, and lots of restaurants in the area. Both our rooms had the direct view of the lake on the 3rd floor. All these and the free breakfast, dog friendly hotel, EV charger, very friendly and helpful staff makes this pretty much the best hotel we've stayed in the greater reno/sparks area.

PET FRIENDLY!!!! Due to our cat being recently diagnosed with diabetes, we have to take her everywhere we go now and discovered The Sugarloaf is actually pet friendly. It was our first time staying here however we felt like we have known them for years. The owners were so welcoming and caring and we got to meet the team member that has been there the longest not to mention the cutest, a kitty named Smokey and she was absolutely amazing.
