"Our room was clean. It appeared nice and tidy. Bed clothes were clean with several layers available or your comfort level. Nice sized refrigerator. All amenities mentioned on the website were provided, as well as a swivel chair at the desk. Only one thing would have made the stay perfect, and that would be the addition ofan arm chair. "

"We checked in after 6PM on a Sunday so quite a few local restaurants were closed. The hotel is gorgeous. The room is clean and the beds are very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again."

"Very friendly and clean place. Some downs sides is the soundproofing. I could hear all the doors closing and it echoes loud. The water pressure in our room wasnt good no matter the setting. The restaurant not being open is also a draw back, because there are not many options for food unless you want to drive a bit. All things considered i still had a nice time and will be back if or when they open the restaurant."

"Alpha's Log Cabin in the woods exceeded our expectations held when we selected this location for our 37th anniversary get-away. The cabin itself is a wonderful lodging place located on a beautiful secluded wooded site where no other dwellings are in view, with a well-kept small yard and attractive flower/shrub beds that all served to give us a nestled-in, very comfortable feeling. The specially themed cabin was very tidy and amenities very well organized; we felt right at home. Dinah even graciously provided us with the added special touch of anniversary best wishes complete with tasty cookies and jam! Adding to an already-superb setting, Alpha's Log Cabin comes complete with a babbling brook that one can view right from the front porch (while relaxing and sipping on hot coffee), front and back yards, and even from the kitchen window! During our stay we thoroughly enjoyed the gurgling sounds of this creek as the water flowed across the rocky streambed. Several different songbirds, including a whip-poor-will with its night song, provided great background music. With all of these experiences in hand, we absolutely loved our anniversary get-away stay at Alpha's Log Cabin!"
