Cozy and rustic cabin tucked away in the Utah mountains surrounded by pines and clean air. Living room with loveseat, 2 recliners and gas fireplace. Perfect for great conversation. Two smart TV's--one upstairs and one downstairs. Both have Netflix. Open loft to (steep) upstairs with 2 comfy, queen beds. One bathroom with new shower (no tub) downstairs. Large open front deck and smaller covered back deck--perfect for sipping coffee/mimosas in the morning and evening bbq's. Back deck has a gas bbq grill and smoker. Front deck has a sitting area and gas fire pit in non-snowy season. Wood fire pit is in front of the front deck and the best place for s'mores. (During non-fire restriction season ).
Newly remodeled kitchen is stocked full of pots, pans, bakeware, dinnerware, utensils, lots of small appliances, spices, oils, flour, sugar, coffee, refrigerator full of condiments---just about everything you need to make great meals during your stay. Linens and towels are provided. Washer, dryer and detergent provided. This truly is a perfect "homebase" for all of the day trips throughout the area. Plenty of parking for an ATV trailer.

A little slice of heaven
We loved staying at this property! The Duck Creek Village area is so peaceful and lovely. We chose this location to be between Zion and Bryce NPs and it really filled the bill, while allowing us relaxing privacy in our down time. We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck and watching the birds. There is a steep staircase to the sleeping area with the bathroom downstairs, which was no problem for us but could be for someone with mobility issues of any sort. I loved having the laundry on premises as we were on an extended trip and needed to get things washed along the way. The drive from Cedar City to the area was incredibly beautiful as well. We came in from the other direction and discovered that drive by accident. What a pleasant surprise!

Very nice cabin! Road to cabin not the best. Kitchen had everything you needed. Bedrooms up steep stairs but we had no trouble, in our mid 60’s. Recommend!

Nice quiet place that is actually in a forest with all amenities included. However, many cobwebs around the place and a pervasive bad odor through out that did not subside with leaving all the doors and windows open for an hour. Not impressed with having to take all the garbage out where it was not clear where to take it and having to take all the bed laundry downstairs.

Rustic Cozy Cabin
This cabin is very quaint and cozy. There are two queen beds with a large window on each side. The stairs are between the two beds as well as a drop down shade you can use for privacy. The living room has two comfy recliners, a couch and plenty of throw blankets around. There is a washer/dryer in the bathroom, the bathroom was extremely well stocked, as was the entire kitchen! We didn't have the time to cook, but everything you might need is there for guest use. Outside there is a grill, a fire pit on the ground and a deck fire pit as well, with plenty of seating for all of this!. There are two tv's, one up and one down. I was able to stream. The drive up the mountain would be "iffy" if there had been rain, but it was dry when we were there. The only difficulty we had was the stairs. And it is no fault of the owners. We are over 65 and the beds being upstairs and the bathroom being downstairs was not a particularly good fit for us. But I will say that the owners have done everything for safety. There are lights on the stairs that illuminate as soon as you step on that tread, so they are not lit up all night, only one at a time as you use them. Quite clever! Overall, I would say this is definitely a top notch place to stay if you want to be away from city lights! For those who love adventure, there are plenty of trails and rentals available right at the bottom of the mountain.

Comfy cabin.
This cute cabin with very comfortable had lots of amenities and a well-stocked pantry to boot! Unfortunately we didn't get to explore the area because of the heavy rain from the recent hurricane. Fortunately this cabin was very comfortable with excellent reclining chairs and gas fireplaces inside and out.

Very Cozy
This was a very comfortable cabin in a beautiful setting. My wife and I came all the way from Missisippi and can’t wait to come back. The location is perfect for exploring diverse natural environments. We spent a day exploring the Grand Staircase (where the temperature hit triple digits) and the evenings in the crisp mountain air next to the fire pit at the cabin (where the temperature in mid August dropped into the 40s). I would definitely recommend this property and Duck Creek Village to anyone looking for a place away from the crowds to explore southern Utah.
