"Master suite room was perfect. Great view. Hotel location is perfect walking distance to the town for restaurants, etc. The wait staff in the restaurants were really nice. We also did a few excursions organized through the hotel and the guides were all excellent. I would highly recommend."

"Sweet Songs was absolutely perfect for my trip to Belize. My room was always clean, there's plenty of wildlife around the resort including toucans and kinkajous (definitely take the night hike!!), and the pool is always a great option when not taking excursions. Breakfast and lunch have the same menu (both with great options) and dinner has a rotating menu that never disappointed. The entire staff is amazing, but Mason, Rita, and Esmeralda always went above and beyond :)"

"Our stay at The Maya Mountain Lodge was absolutely wonderful. The place is very cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful nature — exactly what we were looking for. We had unexpected difficulties at the Guatemala–Belize border and arrived very late, around 10:30 pm, but Cesar was still there waiting for us with a smile and made sure we felt welcome and taken care of. That meant a lot after such a stressful travel day. The restaurant food is delicious, easily one of the highlights of our stay. We also loved that the lodge offers several activities, including cooking classes. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very clean, providing great rest after full days of exploring. "If you’re going to the cayo district for a few days of adventure and truly want to experience the jungle as well as world class Belizean hospitality, please look no further. The Crystal paradise resort truly has it all. From accommodations, scenery, hospitality, cleanliness, and value for quality, this place can not be rated highly enough. Not to mention this is one of the few fully Belizean owned family tourism business remaining in the region. Multiple generations of the Tutt family have put their lives into this place, and it shows. Even as someone who is not a “birder” it is easily appreciated. They have designed the resort to bring the jungle to you. While you are eating your meals, unbelievable birds come right up to the deck to eat or bathe. You fall asleep to serene jungle sounds and wake up to the birds chirping. This place is a hidden gem and if you’re looking for a quiet, magical, friendly jungle experience, this is where you want to go. "
