When we first pulled up, our hearts sank. We didn't realize we had booked a room at a motel. We didn't think we'd be able to get a room somewhere else at the last second so we decided to stay despite our reservations. I am so glad we did! The staff and accommodations were excellent, but there is no “face covering-required” sign at the lobby door and not only did four maskless people walk in but another sneezed all over the breakfast area.

Most comfortable mattress! Room was very clean, decor could have been a little happier. Staff was fabulous, grounds were impeccable, overall a very reasonable and charming place to stay. Santa's village just down the street. Beautiful view of the Presidentials. National forest hiking trails at your doorstep!

The place is just a really nice, classic motor lodge. The room was very clean and the bed comfy. They were also really helpful - switching dates when I accidentally booked the wrong date. And they have EV charging onsite! Great place and great price.
