Everything’s good, the rooms are bit small. But overall good and close to the national park. Restaurant adjoining the hotel is best.

What an adorable place! Glamping at its best. The cabins were so unique and comfortable. Perfect bed with lots of fresh towels. The bathroom had multiple stalls and showers allowing many glampers to use at once. Would definitely stay here again. And dinner at the restaurant was perfect. For those complaining about check in, if you complete online check in, in advance you don’t need to check in at the restaurant. You’ll be sent the codes to your room and the bathroom.

The room was unclean. The walls are SUPER thin in which if you have a normal conversation, the people in the next room can hear every word. The food is average.

The room was small but obviously well cared-for; it included an AC unit which was an especially nice touch. The restaurant was great and surprisingly active, with a mix of locals and visitors. Really it just felt perfect for a friendly, low-key environment.

Gena’s Sierra Inn is a cute vintage motel. The grounds are maintained in very clean conditions and rooms are also clean. I must say that the bathroom in room #7 can use some layout improvements since it is quite compact. The room does not have a mini fridge or microwave, so plan ahead. There is a kitchen available for an extra nightly fee. Although the motel is located right at roadside it felt quite safe. The biggest convenience was having Bella Brooke Cafe basically attached to the motel. After sightseeing all day it was nice to know we had somewhere to eat. We only had dinners there and they were great! My husband is still talking about how much he enjoyed the delicious steak! Service was friendly and you get complimentary coffee with your stay. This is far from a fancy hotel, but it has the basic necessities in a very “cozy” floor plan. I wouldn’t mind staying there again.

This place is perfect if you just need a bed on way to the park. Walls are very thin so you can easily hear neighbors and road noise. Room (#4) was tiny with small bathroom. It was clean, TV and wifi worked great. Hot water stopped while taking shower but luckily i had already washed. Staff were not welcoming or friendly. However she did look up my door code nicely enough. Best thing is that rooms are connected to a restaurant that served cold beer in iced mugs! Husband loved his pasta dish and my fish & chips were just ok.

We stayed at the Creek side Chalet. Room was nice and clean, newer clean bathroom and hot water readily available. Driving towards the chalet in dark was scary ( a little more light in the area will be better) but much nicer in morning. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant attached to it. Food was fresh and delicious. Breakfast portions were quite generous. Overall, nice stay.

We stayed in one of the barn banks with a shared bathroom. Room was nice and clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom was just a few yards away. Restaurant was also yummy and you can pay an extra $10 to use the kitchen and laundry area. Definitely worth the price we paid and a good home base for Kings Canyon National Park.
