"It was difficult to find the first time. Probably more my GPS fault than anything. Once arrived, I had to walk around the area to find my lodgings. GPS said "you have arrived" well, that wasn't good enough. I walked around till I found it. I slept in the twin bunk room. The bottom bunk bed was very uncomfortable. "All was great. This is a working stable with horses and those many that have to care for horses, plus at least one friendly dog. You felt welcomed and that was appreciated. With a 15 minute drive you are in North Berwick and so close to John Muir park and Seacliff. Seacliff is special. "A lovely property inside. Plenty of room for all the family. We stayed whilst attending the Edinburgh Fringe and tattoo so the price was higher than normal. The bus stop was about 10 mins walk and a half hour bus ride into the centre of Edinburgh. We were a bit disappointed to be charged an extra £25 to check in 2 hours early on top of the price we paid. "What a pleasant surprise this find was! We were able to book three nights on relatively short notice. There were four of us visiting Scotland, with two playing golf at several of the local courses. It is very conveniently located near St. Andrews, as well as other little coastal towns. We stayed in The Pines, which was a lovely little house at the end of a road. The grounds were beautiful, and the house fit our every need. It was a perfect ending to a busy 10-day Scottish whirlwind tour."

"Such nice accommodation close to St Andrews and lots of attractions in the Kingdom of Fife. Minutes from restaurants and shops in beautiful Anstruther and there is a great pub within walking distance called the Haven. The flat had all the amenities you could ever need and was clean, cozy and comfortable. The host Anne was very responsive as well. We will be back! "

"Everything about the house was superb. It was spacious yet cosy and you felt at home as soon as you walked in. The house is well equipped. The beds were very comfortable with cosy duvets and crisp linen. The grounds were peaceful, all topped off by deer in the garden wandering up to the house. There is nothing vaguely critical to say."

"The guest house was exceptionally comfortable and well suited for my stay of 7 days (and would have been well suited for any length of time). "Had a wonderful week at the Golf Lodge with my family. The house is perfect for large groups. Family room and kitchen were very comfortable and the views from every room were breathtaking. We had 4 golfers and they found the location convenient for travel to other courses. You must have a car as the house sits about a mile from town(which is small but so charming). My only fault was that other than the master, all bedrooms have twin beds. Would have been nice if there was an option to put beds...

"Everything was great! Bed was super comfy and the pod was super clean and beautifully presented. Luxury towels and everything you needed. Lovely to be able to walk to Seacliff beach and lots to see and do in very easy reach. I did lots of walking with my dogs and there are tons of options in the area. A favourite was Gullane beach. Would definitely return and recommend. Thank you Lisa for a lovely stay. "
