“Overall it was what we needed just for the two nights. We feel like the house and property could use some TLC, the pictures kind of catfish you into this place.”

“The cabin is quirky, but comfortable and well provisioned. The hot tub and fire pit are nice touches. The paths from the parking area to the cabinet from the cabin to the river are easily usable. The river itself while pretty and making a lovely sound, is very unevenly rocky, and consequently not readily accessible for in-water fishing and wading purposes. Because the cabin is multilevel, there are steps between different portions of the cabin. Glow tape on steps would be a good safety……

“Dek is a sweet heart. We had car trouble and had to have our car towed to a dealership back home. He offered to take my husband and I to Enterprise to pick up a rental car. Communication was excellent. This cabin is perfect for reconnect. This was our anniversary trip. We visit the Shenandoah Vally every June. Mostly one of Dek cabins. There was a storm a really bad one. But we pushed through it. Although everything didn’t go as planned our last night at the cabin; my husband and I……

“The nicest thing about this property was its location. We enjoyed the privacy and have a wooded view. It was nice that the owners provided pet bowls, blankets and a bed which was much appreciated. We also appreciated the Kurig coffee maker and s"mors supplies. The water pressure was fantastic as well as the A/C which was much needed during our stay. The master bedroom bed was sufficient but we did sleep in different beds because of its size. The description stated that the property was……

“Host was amazing and accomdodating. The only negative was the wood burning stove had a do not use sricker on it and we were looking forward to that. Other than that everything was great we had a great time thank you”
