The Space:
Hello! Our gorgeous flat boasts Castle views from the front door step and is on a traditional cobbled street in a classic Georgian building. Situated in the desirable New Town neighbourhood, it’s within easy walking distance of the busy city centre. (10 minutes’ walk)
The apartment is a quiet, unique and secluded haven from the hustle and bustle. Includes a galley kitchen and a cosy living room with a cream electric stove fireplace. Bathroom with shower and bedroom with comfy bed, where you can walk straight out to the private garden. There is also a walk in wardrobe with a nice big mirror. An outdoor table and chairs for two can be found in the garden.
Free parking can be found at the end of the street. Metered parking available immediately outside.
Buses are available from the end of the street towards city centre.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to entire apartment and private walled garden.
The Neighborhood:
The Apartment is so central with easy access to old town and new town. It is very easy to get to either by bus from the airport, or train arriving in city centre. Buses leave from the end of the road which take you up to the festival areas if you don't feel like walking. It is very close to Broughton street where you will find cool little shops/bars and restaurants. We particularly like Treacle for drinks and L’Escargot Bleu for food. The Scottish National Portrait Gallery is definitely worth a trip, make sure you have a cake in their café afterwards. It is only a short uphill walk away from the apartment. I love that every morning I leave the apartment you see the view Edinburgh's beautiful castle.

A perfect, cosy spot in a gorgeous, quiet area just outside the city centre. The flat was spotless and spacious - perfect for two people! Lovely comfy bed, handy kitchen, pleasant outside space, and a great vibe. We required no assistance but we were contacted shortly before arrival, which gave us peace of mind that our needs were taken seriously. It felt like home for a few days and we'd come back in a heartbeat. Thank you!
This is a lovely little garden apartment down a flight of stairs from the lobby of this townhouse. While the lobby is badly decorated (random discarded furniture) and dangerously dark at night, this apartment is light and airy and welcoming. The center of town is in easy walking distance and there are a number of grocery stores and pubs within about three blocks. The cute little railroad kitchen, the living room and the bedroom look out into the garden.
Not too much to like. The bed was comfortable.
Curtains were in very bad state, some ceiling repairs required. Needed decorating. Fridge did not work, the TV was tiny. The entrance was dismal and had not been cleaned for some time. We did not enjoy our stay at all.

Unloved property with lots of rules
Squalid entrance hall & stairway . Heating switched off when we arrived (in temp of -1 degree)Curtains hanging off the rails. Clocks & lamps not working. Lots of 'do's and don't's & threats if rules weren't adhered to - as if the owner was doing us a favour having us to stay! On the plus side - bedding, bathroom & kitchen were clean.
We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The supermarket was close so we were able to shop and cook for ourselves. The accommodation had all we needed. It was large, clean, warm and nicely decorated. It was in a nice street in a nice neighbourhood.
