Always locked at night. Didnt worry about bits of my Jeep going missing at night, or walking my dog late at night.FYI, there is no storage in the unit. No closet, no place to hang clothes, no coat hooks, no shelves. A nightstand and a smallish coffee table type box. It meant literally living out of the suitcase.It is 30 minutes from town, so if you're staying more than a night it will take some time to get to and from town.Overall, would book again.
