Everyone says that it is VERY expensive to go to Ek' Balam since prices have gone up. Go and have fun! Get a guide! Bring a swimsuit and go to the cenote! Splurge! Eat at the restaurant next to the cenote ($10 for one dish of cochinito pibil, 2 beers and an agua de tamarindo), and then take a siesta in the hammocks and go back to the cenote. We rented bikes from the ruins to the cenote and it was an easy 15 minute ride.
