“BEWARE: Listing misrepresents the property. August 2026: No air conditioning, no parking on site, and no HOT WATER in the apartment. This is simply not a luxury apartment. Host was very slow to respond at check-in and ignored any issues communicated with the property. The cafe where key pickup occurs does not know the unit number. We had to ask locals in the building to help us narrow it down, just to get inside. The only accurate part of this listing is the location, which is in the heart……

“You can only communicate with the host via whats app and responses are slow. It had everything we needed but kitchen and common are are very small. It feels more like a hotel and then a home .”

“This apartment is in the San Francisco neighborhood which is rough. We saw lots of junkies in this area and I learned later that the “Sala de Consumo Supervisado” is an 8 minute walk from the apartment. There are trash bins right in front of the building that smelled terrible on a hot day. There is no elevator so you will need to get your luggage up a flight of stairs, half of which have no railing as there is significant ongoing construction in the common area.
