“Arrived at the unit during the check in window. I had paid for the stay in full and never received a check in code for the door. It was 109 degrees in Vernon and I had my child and pregnant wife with me. I tried to call to get a code and got no one to answer. I sent a message and took over an hour for anyone to get back to me. We ended up having to wait in a gas station for 2 hours before we finally got the code for the door.”

“The listing and photos made this appear to be a studio apartment, and I understood Motel 6 would simply be handling the check-in and key service. In reality, the lodging was a room in a 50+ year-old Motel 6 property that appeared to be well into decline. It was the worst lodging we experienced during our three-week trip. The air-conditioner drain ran into the room, leaving water on the floor next to the bed. The door also fit very loosely, allowing humid outside air into the room. The bathtub……

“This was a nice place to stay but actually it was way more than we needed. We would have been fine staying in a hotel but the only two really nice hotels in town were priced way over their worth. We found this place which was basically a condo with three bedrooms, two baths and full appliances even including a washer and dryer. We really didn't need all of that for the two nights we were needing to stay but this cost us a good 150 less than the nice hotels. A perfect place to stay for a family.”
