The Melissa hotel is a great place to stay for a good price right near the archaeological site, but do not expect any amenities, it is like many hotels I’ve been to 25 and 30 years ago very Greek and simple and clean.

Ermass was a terrific option for us. A lovely hotel room for four nights with the added bonus of a kitchenette. Clean rooms and staff was professional. Close to city center. Easy walking to the sights. Stayed 12 days so we got our steps in.

Fantastic location near shops and restaurants, Metro nearby at Syntagma Square, Monastiraki close, friendly and professional staff, modern beautiful clean room, safe, cool neighborhood. Where I intend to stay every time I am in central Athens, which will be often.
