The service was lovely. We paid for a water view but didn’t get the benefit due to the scaffolding. The food was reasonably priced for an evening meal and excellent quality more so for gluten free food. There wasn’t much gluten free options for an evening meal or breakfast - no pastries or croissants which is a shame. The leisure facilities are really worn, the changing rooms are weren’t very clean. There was leaks into the swimming pool.

We stayed the night to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary as we'd had our wedding there. Staff were so lovely and helped to make it special for us. We were given vouchers for a complimentary drink and snack as well as a celebratory breakfast in the conservatory.

Lovely location near to the Old port, lok gates barge and old boats, ducks and swans to look at during breakfast. Well furnished room with a lounge chair. Breakfast was very well cooked, Breakfast staff were superb! Clean room and a swimming pool! Air conditioning was spot on. Comfortable bed, spacious room. Dove toiletries.

We had the most wonderful stay. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They left a beautiful cake for my birthday! The breakfast was exceptional, nice view of the canal. The hotel smelt amazing and they had all the amenities you will need. I will definitely be staying again.

We booked this hotel, on impulse, to stay away for an extra night after a family weekend away. They hotel was very clean, the facilities were good, but, the most impressive thing was the staff! Every staff member we spoke with was wonderfully friendly and thoughtful, offering to help and often going the extra mile. Breakfast was incredible, even the sliced breads were of good quality. Highly recommended.

What a treat it was to stay at a hotel with air conditioning in the summer months! Breakfast with a view was amazing, great selection. The friendly staff works so hard, always on the go making sure everyone has what they need. The Starbucks is a nice addition to the lobby! Quiet room, comfortable, had everything we needed and more. We left the Do Not Disturb sign on our door and housekeeping STILL left extras at the door to restock our room! My only slight complaint was that one of our rooms a/c units wasn't nearly as effective as the other, but the room was still comfortable to sleep in.
