“The staff at the hotel were all friendly and helpful during our stay. The breakfast was fine for the price (£9 full, £6.99 continental buffet), with limited choice, but all branded and nicely set out. The room was basic and in need of a bit of a refurb, but again for the price and for one or two nights at short notice was absolutely fine. Would stay there again and probably make more use of the pub/restaurant which was busy both nights. Hotel very dog friendly too b”

“The location was great for the airport although the car park was very busy when i arrived , there was only 1 person on the checkin desk so took ages as there was a queue , eventually someone else opened another desk , also only 1 out of the 2 lifts were working so took ages to go anywhere . The room had a hard wooden floor which was great but i would suggest that slippers are provided given it’s a 4 star property as we found the rooms cold and the air con / heater didn’t do anything to help……

“Booked as we had an early flight from East Midlands airport. Owner met us soon after we arrived. Nice room, great comfy bed, very good shower. Advised there was a good restaurant just down the road (15 min walk) which we visited and had a very tasty meal. Left in the morning too early for breakfast, but not host’s fault. Very good nights sleep. Plenty of parking. Road to airport a bit narrow and windy, but we made it in plenty of time. Would recommend.”
