“This place is FANTASTIC!! It's quiet, peaceful, and has incredible views of the mountains. Don't let the drive up intimidate you because it is worth it!! The hosts are so nice and have paid attention to all the details that made staying here special, from the automatic nightlight in the bathroom to the games in the living area. I have now convinced myself I need a small cabin tucked high in the woods because I didn't want to leave. Black Mountain and Montreat are small towns with so much charm……

“Our first impression as we drove up to this cute little cabin was very positive. As we walked inside, things just got better, it was clean, neat, and the aroma of the log cabin was very appealing. We were meeting other family members here and it was such a wonderful retreat. The beds were comfortable, there was a coffee bar, very workable, kitchen and comfortable living room and bedrooms. My daughter said she slept better here than she did at home in her own bed. The host was very gracious and……

“The property was exactly as pictured. It was clean and so cozy. The location is close to Asheville, as listed. Everything we wanted to see/visit was roughly 15 minutes away. Larry was very responsive and helpful. We brought some mosquito repellents and enjoyed sitting outside by the pond or on the deck. The host provided a few water bottles which was so helpful and thoughtful to since we arrived later than expected and didn’t go food shopping until the next day.”

“We loved our stay at The Nook. It's pet-friendly, clean, and exactly as described. The bed is one of the highest quality mattresses I've had in a rental property. Fantastic! And the host provides little things you might need for your dog: a leash, a blanket, poop bags, toys, and bowls. Very welcoming for 4-legged friends.
