Very enjoyablePosted Oct 12, 2015
We very much enjoyed our stay. We were with a group so enjoyed hanging out at the restaurant. Nice place for walking in the morning and beautiful view from our room. The hotel room, a Mayan Suite on the second level, was laid out nicely - the finishes were dated, but very well maintained.

Nice hotel with view of the beach.Posted Sep 28, 2015
Pros: The view and the high security.
Location: The hotel is hidden; however there are huge signs that tell you were yo turn. You need to drive about 5-6 blocks for stores or food.
The were two security boxes you needed to pass before you get into the hotel. Hotel had a museum; however it was closed. Hotel had a restaurant and bar with live music at night. Nice ocean view.

Relaxing hotel away from the city hububPosted Sep 5, 2015
Pros: Privately tucked away from all the city party atmosphere
Cons: Get another ping pong table and have limits on how long they are used. One hour at a time would be nice especially if you know others are waiting.
Location: Bufadora, Fishmarket
I've stayed at this hotel before and I have to say that the mayan rooms are recently renovated. Nicely done furniture looks modern and the flat screen tv is a nice addition. The one thing I do have a complaint about is the wifi. Its not very good at all it drops in and out all the time and the telephones in both of the rooms that we stayed in were not working at all. This was a problem as one of the nights a very rowdy man showed up at 2AM banging down the door of the room right next to us. It was the weekend before labor day so it was very crowded. The sunday brunch is pretty decent with at very nice variety of food for a relatively good price. All and all it was a nice relaxing time.

Nice Hotel next to a private Beach.Posted Aug 28, 2015
Pros: Love the beach being so close and private. I felt safe.
Cons: just the rooms in first floor need improvement. Also the Hotel restaurant needs better lower prices for the food they serve.
Location: La bufadora was the only place we visit. had lunch in one of the restaurants(food was Delicious)and not too high in price.
Displeased. with the room. hotel needs to upgrade the rooms in first floor. we stayed last summer on 2nd floor and the room was in a better condition.
