“When we arrived we were somewhat surprised when we were directed across the street from the resort. Turns out There are about 6 one room units , some with kitchens( our wasn’t) with its own pool located there. That Wasn’t a problem and it’s a very nice room. However, we were also not aware it was “clothing optional”.At times there were guests who were nude (not us lol). The clothing optional was not a big deal to and we don’t spent much time at our room anyway. We prefer the beach and Sand……

“The apartment truly does sit in the heart of Christiansted - a perfect location for popping out to a local dinner, browsing local shops, heading out for an excursion, or ducking downstairs to the juice bar. The space was well maintained very clean, and provided everything we need. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this apartment for a trip to Christiansted.”

“I’ve been going to St Croix for 12 years and need to advise that if you’re looking for a 5 star luxury hotel / resort; you’re on the wrong island; goto St Thomas. Hotels here are mainly historic / small, which keeps with the island. With that said I loved staying at this hotel. It’s 300 years old; very clean, in the heart of everything, just feet from the restaurants / shops / water. The manager is on site. “The only positive I can give Carina Bay was the beach location and Scott the bartender. Its a shame they claim this is an all inclusive resort. Food options are extremely limited. Very few choices for dinner, with some of the food not being refilled without having to ask staff. They make limited desserts, so get one early before they are gone. Only 3 umbrellas at the pool and maybe 5 at the beach. Not enough lounge chairs at the beach maybe 15 and not many more at pool. this is poor considering the amount of people staying.
