“This was my/our first trip to the Caribbean, and this hotel did NOT disappoint! The rooms were beautiful and clean with an amazing view. The staff (Doug) was beyond nice, very helpful, and a pleasure to interact with! If we ever return to St. Croix, this will be where we stay!”

“This is it! The room is fantastic! If you love a great oceanic view with the soothing sounds of the ocean crashing against the rocks. This is it! The location is a bit secluded from the local towns buttt still within 20/30 min reach and believe me if you’re going for the views, there’s no need to leave the area. Great restaurant (AMA) on property and a few local spots a short walk away. Literally a 4 minute walk from the beach (Cane Bay). If you’re double minded… just pick this one.”

“This is a unique property with a lovely access to the best beach ever! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The room is spacious and all utilities worked perfectly. I loved that it is non frills and at the same time well thought out in terms of comfort. Will certainly recommend and return!”

“The balcony had an excellent view. The bar was adequately stocked and the bar staff were very friendly and helpful. If you want to sleep past 4:30 AM bring earplugs!! The roosters start their very loud cockadoodle doing at 4:30AM and are relentless! Warm showers are not guaranteed. ”

“The property was misrepresented by very old images on Expedia. The property is worn out and tired. Work was needed everywhere and at best is a 2 star hotel. Not enough staff to keep up the property and garbage everywhere including on the beach. Beach is beautiful but the water is unsuitable to swimming due to rip tides. No security on property and felt unsafe a number of times.”

It is a fascinating island with so much rich history; we made sure to explore the sights at Fort Frederik and Christiansted, and took in the beautiful views at Point Udall. ​The Buccaneer Resort is a lovely property, and overall, we had a good stay. “The apartment truly does sit in the heart of Christiansted - a perfect location for popping out to a local dinner, browsing local shops, heading out for an excursion, or ducking downstairs to the juice bar. The space was well maintained very clean, and provided everything we need. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this apartment for a trip to Christiansted.”

“So one thing to remember here is that the property was built in the 60’s and sat for quite a while but with that said the rooms were immaculate…. Some of the resort does needs some updating like the pool which has a liner and sometimes it feels like you are walking on a sponge, but it was clean and well kept. We were a little surprised as the marketing made it seem as though it was a much bigger property than it is. They do serve three different types of food from the same kitchen. The food was……
