It is a quaint studio cottage with a yard that is safely fenced in for pets. Great attention to detail in decor and information
We loved the stay. The studio was very clean and well stocked. It was nice being so close to downtown Eureka. I also liked how there were suggestions on places to eat and things to see.
Our second stay at this lovely little cottage! The nicest, most perfect, coziest place we’ve stayed at with our two dogs. Quiet, clean, comfortable, safe! And wonderfully dog friendly with its fenced yard.
This "studio" is huge, with plenty of room for a couch, table, and chairs. A big plus for us is the secure yard (fence to the ground), which is essential when traveling with our small dog.
The little house was so cute and it had everything we needed. It was a great stay. The neighborhood was a little run down but as soon as we got behind the locked gate and in the little house it was just perfect. It was actually larger than the photos showed. We will be back again.
My wife came up to Eureka to attend a special Valentine’s Day event at Dick Taylor Chocolate. We chose the Hum Bee studio because it took dogs and it was close to old town. We ended up loving everything about the place. It was a great location close enough to walk to old town but far enough away to be very quiet. It was clean, neat, and quite cozy and the fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. I highly recommend this property.

Cute cozy little spot for myself and 2 pups to relax in after a day at the beach and 4 hr drive. Flowers and plants are beautiful and make the space more inviting. The inside is spacious and well done. Loved it.
We LOVED this beautiful little cottage! And it was so nice to be able to travel with our Labradoodle & our Chihuahua…the cottage had absolutely everything we needed…and we loved the lovely private yard with the picnic table and gorgeous plants (biggest lemon tree EVER!) And we have NEVER stayed in a cleaner pet-friendly vacation rental…we so appreciated the clean and pristine condition! We will definitely return and will also recommend this place to our family and friends.
Lovely cottage with its own entrance and an overall feeling of privacy. One room (plus bathroom), with a king bed and a sofa bed. Very quiet neighborhood, yet only a 5-minute drive or 20-minute walk to the waterfront and Old Town shops and restaurants. Pleasant outdoor space with a picnic table. Fully fenced yard, great for letting the dog roam outside. Owner responded quickly to a text when we had a question.
We had a great stay at the Humbee Studio over the 4th of July. Belem was a great host! She was hosting a gathering at her house when we arrived and she brought over food to welcome us and also gave us a suggestion for where to see fireworks. The studio has a separate entrance and walkway from the main house so it was completely private. The studio was spacious and comfortable for our stay. Having a full kitchen was great! It was also very walkable to downtown Eureka. Definitely a great spot!
My dog and I really enjoyed our stay. It's a very spacious studio with enough yard for my old pal. Everything was clean and ready and the location was great for walking to anywhere I needed and a quiet neighborhood. Absolutely wonderful place to stay!
The one room clean accommodation is very well laid out with a convenient kitchen, private bathroom, sitting/TV area and large king size bed. There is plenty of closet space and a nice electric fireplace in the corner. Our dog was very secure within the fenced yard when he went out to roam the small, nicely landscaped yard. We were visiting a friend who lives only 2 blocks away so that was very convenient for us. We were given the gate and door key code before arrival and that was very convenient and no hassle. The neighborhood is quiet and there was plenty of street parking. We would definitely want to stay here again when we visit our friend.
Very accommodating. My dogs were safe and comfortable . Super roomy for a studio, was perfect for our quick stop. Thank you for the burritos & salsa -INCREDIBLE!!!!

Quaint, comfortable, quiet, and clean studio within 15 minute walk to Old Town Eureka.
Great large studio (converted garage of a Victorian home next door.) with king size bed. There was a Huge comfortable couch with a gas fireplace that was lovely. Kitchen had full size appliances, table and we even did a load of laundry (handy washer and driver out back). Private access with beautiful plants flowers and a lemon tree in the yard. Restful and quiet, thank you kindly.
