The Telstar is a nice little hotel, conveniently located close to St. Davis train station; spotlessly clean, with friendly staff and nice breakfast. The price is also right. Everything would have been great if they didn’t have the worst mattress of any hotel i ever stayed in; i could feel the springs in my back and got very little sleep because of that. Also the temperature wasn’t controllable and windows didn’t open sufficiently. I had a really terrible night and certainly cannot recommend this hotel to anyone until they replace their mattresses (at least in the single room).

Walked into the Telstar to a very welcoming host. Had one of the small but perfected formed single rooms with a bathroom. The room had everything I needed and even a little balcony. Will definitely be back…thank you

This is the second time I have stayed at the Telstar - I have had the same room both times (probably because it was a single and I don’t think they have many) which made me smile - it’s perfect for my requirements. It’s laid back, friendly, kinda quirky which I love - the service and facilities exceed my expectations and with a lovely Full English breakfast included in the price it’s just superb value for money. I will be back ! 🙂
