“Owner was very personable and helpful. The cabin is vintage without a lot of modern upgrades, but that is what makes it charming. Kind of like stepping into a 1940's lakeside resort. It had all of the proper necessities, fridge, microwave, stove, kitchen wares, etc. It was clean and comfortable. Cable tv worked fine. They supplied some wood for a campfire which was nice and each cabin has their own firepit. The lake is beautiful and we could launch our kayaks from the edge beyond the seawall,……

“We had two large families stay here and found the property to be very clean, well stocked, and as advertised. There is no air conditioning in this home, so it got very hot! But, we knew that from the listing and packed a few extra fans which I would recommend. The property owner was very communicative and helpful. Overall, a great stay.”

“Amazing property and location. Has everything you need for a fun and comfortable stay. We were 2 families total of 9 with kids ranging from 10-17 and they had a great time. The manager is super helpful and responsive. They had a cute gift basket with needed items upon arrival. And all the water items you would need. The towns hear by are so cute and if you plan to fish get the night crawlers from Mug and Jug and you will catch a ton of fish! Thanks for such an amazing time. ”

“Marilyn and Jim couldn’t have been better. Communication was great, check-in couldn’t have been easier. The cottage was spotless. The beach area was a big hit. This is a sandy bottom lake which is great for water clarity and if you don’t like squishy/muddy lake bottoms. Sunsets right over the lake were amazing. Could’t recommend it more, enjoy!”

“This was my 2nd time staying in Hale, on a 2 week work-cation and this house exceeded our expectations. The house is a lot bigger looking than the photos show. I have a family of 4 and we never felt cramped and the kids had plenty of room to stay out each others hair (8 year old girl 11 year old boy iykyk) The kitchens HUGE, well equipped, and probably enough seating between the two tables for 12 people.Now... onto the important part: THE LAKE!AuSable Lake is beautiful.
