“What a great find. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room had its own large airy patio surrounded by plants. We had some of the best breakfasts we have ever had in a hotel- and in a lovely setting under the lemon tree!”

“There were ants in the bed. Got stinged 4 times. Also, you can hear any noise in the corridor, no soundproof at all. The shower is nice but licking.”

“Großartige Gastfreundschaft, tolles Frühstück und super Tipps!Ich war für eine Woche alleine mit meiner Tochter unterwegs und wir hätten es nicht besser treffen können. Gebucht hatten wir ein Zimmer mit separatem Bad, aber Gino und Rose haben uns spontan und ohne Aufpreis eine kleine Wohnung direkt gegenüber gegeben. Sie meinten aufmerksam, das Zimmer sei für 6 Tage zu klein für uns beide und mit Kind sei die Wohnung einfach komfortabler.Das Frühstück war jeden Morgen fantastisch und es gab……

“Perfect spot to stay in the centre of São Bras de Alportel, with easy parking to then explore on foot. A range of restaurants and cafés, plus a local supermarket and Pingo Doce if you want to take a snack back to your room, to eat on your balcony. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Hotel is traditional, but has modern air con with a lift for all floors. The rooms are well kept and very clean, with a mini fridge and flat screen TV. Thank you Monica and the Breakfast chef for a lovely stay.”

“The staff was very courteous and very helpful as an American, who did not understand Portuguese. The staff went out of their way to give me directions and guide me. Also, the breakfast in the morning was over the top homemade goodies along with custom eggs, your choice of meats. I also met the owners of the property who took pride in their establishment, which made me feel very comfortable. I look forward to going back.”
