"The room was spacious and well furnished. The fabric covered headboard made a real impact as you walked in. The bathroom was sparklingly clean. Real thought had gone into what makes guests feel at home and what utensils they would need to prepare food if necessary. The wine glasses were a nice touch! There was even a breakfast bar where you could sit and look out over the street. Plentiful supply of electric plugs (so useful when you have phones and iPads etc.) Check-in worked perfectly...

"Such a shame- could have been 5 star!! Internally the room was great, very comfortable and modern BUT from outside looked dreadful- dirty windows, dead window boxes and number missing from the door. Was very inconvenient, having to go out and buy tea & coffee ( I had asked before we travelled and was assured it was provided.) I draw the line at having to buy loo roll !! Attention to detail needed!"

"Staff were all lovely and very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean overall, could perhaps do with someone to clean the bathroom with a fresh pair of eyes as some areas are being overlooked. Overall though, excellent value and we would happily go back - would recommend."

Peter and Sheila were great hosts and cooked breakfast to order each day and made sure we had everything we needed. Would happily return!"
