“Its not the most stylish or modern of places to stay but it has a lovely feel to it. Staff are honest, i left my ear buds and they handed them in. The building is quirky but i was so relaxed with my kids cos there was nothing to break/damage. I could smoke on the balcony and no one cared. I will stay here again 100%”

“Rebecca is the best! Whatever you want/need she’s there! Had a problem with the bedside lamp - she fixed it, injured my knee, she fed me (not for free I hasten to add before scores of people want the same!). She cooked my breakfast and made sure I was made to feel VERY welcome. Sort of sorry to leave!”
“Staff are really great and friendly! The room we stayed is near the alley which is noisy during the night that we couldn’t sleep well. And the pillows are flat that are not comfortable. ”

“Annual trip to Scarborough for the cricket The Crescent is the best hotel I have found. I especially like the new menu in the lounge (along with the Scarborough Fair beer at 6%) I think they need to think about global warming (who would have thought that you might need air conditioning in Scarborough?). Some fans in the rooms might be an idea.”
