“It’s a picturesque old pub with an extensive garden area and a large parking space. It’s quite classy indoors and we were impressed by both the sophisticated dinner menu and the food itself - very good.We were welcomed warmly and shown to the Cowdray Room, which opens on to the beer garden. That wasn’t a problem as the pub closes at 10, and then it was an advantage as we were able to sit outside for breakfast with the place to ourselves. The pub will cook breakfast but not until 10.30 am, so……

After some effort, I realised there was two inches seaview at the corner of the window. You need to make an effort in order to notice it! I think this is cheating. It’s a joke. ”

I strongly suspect the hotel does not comply with heath and safety rules. We received a refund from Expedia, but I would not have any confidence in receiving a refund directly from the hotel.
