“This place is little better than a youth hostel: unwelcoming, grim, dirty and unsafe. You would do better sleeping in a skip. There are no human beings involved in the entire process; all communication is through WhatsApp. Upon "registering" you are presented with a series of additional charges not mentioned on the booking site before "check-in". “Gorgeous flat, quiet, really comfortable, fantastic set up with everything you need in the kitchen, clean, and even a couple of croissants left for breakfast. The bed was comfy, the room was dark and a blackbird very gently woke us up at a reasonable time in the morning. “This property was just as described, nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Great location only a few minutes walk from the pier and the centre of Brighton. Only drawback for us as a mixed family group, there were no curtains / blinds in the bedroom, so no privacy. Overall very good value for money.”

“On arrival we were unable to access the property and had to wait for another guest to let us in. Smooth check process thereafter, Michael receptionist lovely and welcoming. Property description is not entirely what it seems as whole chalet is a bit miss leading, the rooms are part of a large building and spacious, clean rooms. Slightly dated, it is a charity which explains the decor and layout. No bar at the weekend, no swimming pool at the weekend. Good location, would stay again now I……

“This property is in disrepair and is not being maintained. One part of the floor is sinking and propped by loose boards. There is an overall smell of mildew/mold throughout the place, and most of the surfaces need a good cleaning. In the bathroom the shower tap is rigged so that you cannot increase the temperature past a moderate level, and the shower door is falling off the frame. I also came across many spiders. ”
