“A room smelled like cigarette smoke and the neighbor next door was smoking, so it came in through the vents and a very musty smell in the room. When you first got in the room each time. I mentioned this to the owner.”

“Less private than a hotel despite the remoteness. Nice beach and lots of water toys, kayaks and life jackets. Expensive if you’re just looking for a quiet nights sleep, but, a nice place nonetheless.”

We had a barbecue on our first night and it was a awesome patio with a huge Blackstone that we grilled our steaks and Brats on they had everything we needed to feed our group!! They also had a bonfire pit that my husband was excited to light up it was so cozy!! Thanks Paul and Deb for everything we really enjoyed it and would recommend this beautiful getaway to everyone!!”

“This was a noisy frenetic resort. It has not been very well kept up. The hut with the kayaks and other watercraft was a mess. There were not enough life preserves for those who use the watercraft. The Pickleball court is a joke and the net cannot be raised high enough for adults to be used. we stayed in one of the rooms above the office. “This place is rustic, but has potential. No communication from host as to how to get in. I tried emailing the host via VRBO, calling, and texting. After texting I got the code to get in and the wifi. You have to have your own water to drink and cook with. It is well water without a filter for getting useable water. The well water has a potent smell and taste of iron. There aren't any curtains in the back of the house and the roll up curtains in one of the bedrooms aren't great. The furniture is……
